GETTING HERE

How do I get to the festival?

The festival is located at Dreamland, Margate.

Dreamland’s entrance is on Marine Terrace, Margate, CT9 1XJ; the entrance to the Amusement Park is just to the side of the cinema on Hall By The Sea Road.

The closest rail station is Margate which is a 10 minute walk to the venue.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available in various car parks in Margate.

At what time does the festival open?

The festival opens at 2pm.

What is the accessibility like at the venue?

All of Dreamland’s restaurants and shops are accessible for wheelchairs. Accessible Toilets are available throughout Dreamland park. Please note that some of these facilities are fitted with a Radar Key, you are therefore advised to bring your own key to avoid unnecessary waits.

Most of the area is paved with flat surfaces and paths. If you require additional assistance do not hesitate to ask a member of the Dreamland Team.

Hearing Loops are provided when requested.

Please note wheelchairs are not available to hire at Dreamland, we therefore advise you to bring your own. Any further questions can be directed to the Dreamland Guest Experience Team (office@dreamland.co.uk).

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available via the link on the top of this page or on the Dreamland website here.

I haven’t received my tickets yet. How do I obtain entry?

Don’t panic! If you haven’t received tickets and you think you should have, make sure you’ve contacted your ticket seller before notifying us.

I need to bring a personal assistant or carer. Can they get a ticket?

No problem! Tickets for entry with a carer can be purchased on the Dreamland website here.

If you require a carer, proof of eligibility will need to be supplied on entry at the event alongside your ticket. You will need to provide one of the following forms of documentation:
– A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant clearly stating why you are eligible for a carer ticket
– A letter from a professional body (eg Nurse, Bupa Healthcare Advisor etc) clearly stating why you are eligible for a carer ticket
– A DLA, DWP or PIP letter stating you are entitled to a carer ticket
– A valid Max Card
– Blue Badges are not accepted

What are the age restrictions for the Margate Reggae Festival?

The event is 16+ – 16 and 17 year-olds need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
